| The River Ganges or the Ganga is the most sacred river in the Hindu religion and its source at Gaumukh on the Gangotri glacier is one of the holiest destinations for Hindu pilgrims who come here to witness the birth of Mother Ganga. Our trek takes us to Gaumukh (translates to cows mouth), the mythological source of the River Ganges, which is at the snout of the Gangotri glacier. At Gaumukh, blocks of glacier fall into the river and pilgrims 'cleanse themselves of their sins' in freezing water. |

| Day 01: Delhi |
| Arrive Delhi. Met upon arrival and transfer to hotel for overnight stay. |
| Day 02: Delhi-Rishikesh |
| Morning after breakfast drive to reach Rishikesh (6 hours approx). Afternoon visit Haridwar, Har-Ki-Pauri and continue to Rishikesh, one of the holy places for Hindus. Arrive and check into hotel for overnight stay. |
| Day 03: Rishikesh – Uttarkashi |
| Morning after breakfast drive to Uttarkashi (1885 M) by covering approx 148 kms in 7 hrs. The road climbs up steadily to Srinagar and then onwards steeply. Arrive and check into tourist bungalow for overnight stay. |
| Day 04: Uttarkashi - Gangotri |
| Morning after breakfast drive to reach Gangotri (4038 M) by covering approx. 101 kms in 5 hrs. En-route visit the Ganganani hot springs. There is a beautiful Gorge at Bhairav Ghati. Arrive and check into tourist bungalow for overnight stay. |
| Day 05: Gangotri - Bhujbasa (Trek) |
| Morning after breakfast start first day's trek to Bhujbasa (3658 M) following the river Bhagirathi by covering approx 14 kms in 5 hrs. approx. En-route you can have beautiful view of Mt. Shivling Meru etc. Arrive and overnight stay in tents/tourist bungalow. |
| Day 06: Bhujbasa – Gaumukh - Tapovan (Trek) |
| Morning after breakfast start trekking to Tapovan (4400 M) by covering approx. 8 kms in 3 hrs. First reach Gaumukh, the source of the river Ganges, cross the Gangotri glacier and climb steeply to reach a beautiful Meadow, Tapovan with a majestic view of Mt. Shivling Meru etc. Arrive and overnight stay in tents. |
| Day 07: Tapovan - Bhujbasa (Trek) |
| Morning after breakfast start trekking down to Bhujbasa by covering approx. 8 kms in 2 hrs. Overnight at tourist bungalow/tents. |

Day 08: Bhujbasa – Gangotri - Uttarkashi (Trek) |
| Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Gangotri by covering approx. 14 kms in 4 hrs. From Gangotri drive to Uttarkashi by covering approx. 101 kms in 5 hrs. Arrive and overnight stay at tourist bungalow. |
| Day 09: Uttarkashi - Rishikesh |
| Morning after breakfast drive to reach Rishikesh by covering approx. 148 kms in 7 hrs. Overnight at tourist bungalow/tents. |
| Day 10: Rishikesh – Delhi |
| Morning after breakfast drive to Delhi by covering 225 kms in 7 hrs. Arrive Delhi, check in hotel for overnight stay. |
